Lower Hurst Farm, set amid the hills overlooking the River Dove, combines careful husbandry of the land and management of wildlife habitats together with the dedicated organic farming of cattle and sheep. Its barns and gardens, with spectacular views, provide the perfect setting for a convivial and stimulating weekend of music, art, and talks, fuelled by memorably delicious organic food and plentiful supplies of wine between events.
The programme includes: The Allegri String Quartet, Lynne Truss, Debo - Duchess of Devonshire, Christopher Reid, Stephen Venables, Miranda Seymour and Thomas Pakenham.
The exhibition of artists includes: Lucy Annat, Nigel Atkinson, Juliet Bankes, Victoria Threfall, Anne Lever, Simon Manby, David Measures, Susanna Penrose and Sue Prince.
